Sri Lanka in front of huge milestone

Sri Lanka will play their first Super Four stage match against Bangladesh on Saturday at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. If Sri Lanka manages to win this match, it will be their 13th consecutive win in ODI matches, and they will become only the second team to achieve that milestone. Sri Lanka has been unbeaten since June 4th, 2023. Sri Lanka currently holds the record for the second-most consecutive wins, with Pakistan and South Africa. They have won 12 consecutive ODI matches, while Australia holds the record with 21 consecutive wins.
