Pramodya Wickramasinghe Sacked as Selection Committee Changes
The Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports has officially approved a new five-member Selection Committee for Sri Lanka Cricket, led by former Sri Lankan cricketer Kapila Wijegunawardena.
The newly appointed panel replaces the previous selection committee that operated under Pramodya Wickramasinghe.
Kapila Wijegunawardena represented Sri Lanka in 28 international matches and was also a member of Sri Lanka’s historic squad at the 1992 Cricket World Cup.

Vanessa De Silva
The appointment of the new committee comes at an important period for Sri Lankan cricket as the national side prepares for upcoming international assignments and future tournament planning
