LPL 2026 Fixtures Announced: Tournament to Begin on July 17 at SSC
Sri Lanka Cricket has officially announced the match fixtures for the sixth edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2026, with the tournament set to get underway on July 17 at the SSC Grounds in Colombo.
Defending champions Jaffna will face Galle in the opening match of the competition as another exciting season of franchise cricket begins in Sri Lanka. A total of 24 matches are scheduled to be played across four venues during the tournament, promising cricket fans weeks of high-intensity T20 action featuring local and international stars.
The grand final of LPL 2026 is scheduled to take place on August 8 at the iconic R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium. The Lanka Premier League continues to grow as Sri Lanka’s premier domestic T20 tournament, attracting global attention and providing a major platform for emerging Sri Lankan talent.
