Zimbabwe’s legendary cricketer, Heath Streak passed away

Former Zimbabwe cricketer Heath Streak passed away at the age of 49 after a battle with cancer. His wife, Nadine Streak, posted a heartfelt message on social media and confirmed the news.

In the early hours of this morning, Sunday the 3rd of September 2023, the greatest love of my life and the father of my beautiful children, was carried to be with the Angels from his home where he wished to spend his last days surrounded by his family and closest loved ones. He was covered in love and peace and did not walk off the Park alone. Our souls are joined for eternity Streaky. Till I hold you again – Nadine Streak

Heath Streak has played 65 Test matches and 189 ODI matches and scored 4933 runs and 455 wickets across the formats. Heath Streak is the only Zimbabwe cricketer to have 1000 runs and 100 wickets in Test matches and 2000 runs and 200 wickets in ODI matches.
