West Indies lead the series
The West Indies registered a two-wicket win over India in the 2nd T20I of the series on Sunday at Providence Stadium in Guyana. India captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and opted to bat first.
After winning the toss, India scored 152 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their 20 overs. Tilak Varma was the top scorer for India with 51 runs. Ishan Kishan scored 27 runs, while skipper Hardik Pandya contributed 24 runs.
In reply to that, the West Indies chased down the target successfully and scored 155 runs for 8 wickets in 18.5 overs. Nicholas Pooran was the top scorer with 67 runs in 40 balls. Rovman Powell scored 21 runs, and Shimron Hetmyer contributed 22 runs. At the back end of the inning, Akeal Hosein and Alzarri Joseph made a crucial 26-run partnership and guided the team to victory.
