Sri Lanka and India met each other most times in the Asia Cup finals

The 16th edition of the ACC Asia Cup schedule will be played from August 30th to September 1st in Sri Lanka and Pakistan. India and Sri Lanka have met each other eight times in the finals of the Asia Cup. It was recorded as the two countries meeting the most number of times in the history of the Asia Cup. Both teams met in the final for the first time in the inaugural Asia Cup in 1984 in Sharjah, while both teams met in the final for the last time in 2010 at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla. In those 8 finals, India has won 5 matches and Sri Lanka has won 3 finals.
