Murali predicted the semi-finalists without Sri Lanka
During the interviews at the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 announcement in Mumbai, Former Indian opening batsman Virendra Sehwag and Sri Lankan spinning legend Muttiah Muralitharan predicted the semi-finalists and Finalist of the upcoming Cricket World Cup.
Both Virendra Sehwag and Muttiah Muralitharan picked India, Pakistan, England, and Australia as the semifinalists. Muralitharan predicts that India and England will play in the final, while Sehwag thinks that India and Australia will play in the final.
When Muralitharan picked his four semifinalists, Sehwag asked him about Sri Lanka. “You have to be honest to your self because how you believe and what teams are doing well at the moment well, according to that you have to predict” Muttiah Muralitharan replied to Virendra Sehwag.
Sri Lanka is currently playing in the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifiers 2023 in Zimbabwe to qualify for the ICC Cricket World Cup.
