Martin Guptill guide New Zealand to a victory

New Zealanders registered a convincing 7 wickets win over South Africa, in 4th ODI of the series, at the Hamilton on Wednesday. South African Captain AB de Villiers won the coin toss, and elected to bat first.

Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock started the South African innings and de Kock out for a duck in very first over. After that Faf du Plessis and Hashim Amla made 65 runs partnership for the 2nd wicket and Amla dismissed for 40 runs. 62 runs later JP Duminy bowled by Tim Southee for 25 runs. Meanwhile Faf du plessis made his 25th ODI half- century and dismissed for 67 runs.For South Africa, it was AB de Villiers, who was the top scorer with unbeaten 72 runs. Wayne Parnell and Chris Morris scored some quick runs in the latter stage of the innings. Eventually, South Africa manage to score 279 runs for lost of 8 wickets in their 50 overs.

In reply that New Zealand scored 280 runs and won the match with 30 balls remaining. New Zealand opener Dean Brownlie dismissed early. Skipper Kane Williamson an Martin Guptill set a platform to a chase that target. Both Williamson and Guptill made 72 runs partnership for the 2nd wicket before Kane Williamson fell for 21. Following of his dismissal Ross Taylor joined with Martin Guptill and guide the team to a victory. Then add 180 runs for the 3rd wicket. Ross Taylor scored 66 runs. For New Zealand, it was Martin Guptill, who was the top scorer with unbeaten 180 runs. Eventually New Zealand able to chassed to target of 280 with in 45 overs and it claimed 7 wickets win for home side.
