Sri Lanka registered a 9-wicket win over Zimbabwe in the 4th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifiers 2023 on Sunday at Bulawayo. At the end of the match, Sri Lankan spinner Maheesh Theekshana joined the post-match press conference and expressed his thoughts on the clash between Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe and the combination of Wanidu and himself.
“Me and Hasaranga have a very good partnership in T20s. When we played together, we knew that one bowler would get a wicket, and the other would have to pressure the other end. For us, it’s really good that we are both doing really well right now,” Maheesh Theekshana said.
