Australian Big Bash team Melbourne Renegades signs Sri Lankan all rounder Thisara Perera for remainder of Big Bash League 2016-17(BBL) as a replacement player for injured West Indies all rounder Dwayne Bravo. Melbourne Renegades have confirmed the signing of Sri Lankan all rounder Thisara Perera.
Melbourne Renegades player Dwayne Bravo has been ruled out of the Big Bash League after suffering a hamstring injury, while fielding against the Perth Scorchers in last week and he need a surgery to repair damage.
27 years old Sri Lankan all rounder Thisara Perera has played 189 T20 matches right across the world. He has scored 2118 runs at a strike-rate of 140.63. Also he has took 164 wicket in his T20 career. Also he is a member of World Twenty20 title winning Team in 2014.
