Sri Lanka squad announced, Pathum Nissanka miss out the T20I series against Bangladesh

Sri Lanka Cricket announced the 17-member squad for the upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh. Wanindu Hasaranga was named the captain of the side, while Charith Asalanka was named the vice captain. However, skipper Wanindu Hasaranga will miss the first two matches because the International Cricket Council (ICC) has taken disciplinary action against him.

Sri Lankan pacer Dushmantha Chameera and opening batter Pathum Nissanka were not included in the side that was injured during the home series against Afghanistan. Avishka Fernando and Jeffrey Vandersay bring back into the squad who missed the T20I series against Afghanistan.
