Six runs win for Adelaide Strikers

The Brisbane Heat registered a 6-run win over the Adelaide Strikers in the 13th inning of the Big Bash League on Friday at Brisbane. The Brisbane Heat captain, Jimmy Peirson, won the coin toss and elected to bat first.

After winning the toss, Brisbane Heat scored 166 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their 20 overs, Sam Billings scored 79 runs, and Max Bryant scored 46 runs. Wes Agar and Matthew Short claimed three wickets each for the Adelaide Strikers.

In reply, the Adelaide Strikers scored 160 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their 20 overs. Thomas Kelly scored 43 runs, and Colin de Grandhomme scored 37 runs. For Brisbane Heat, Mark Steketee took four wickets.
