Rain spoiled the both Warm up matches

The 4th and 5th warm-up matches of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 ended with no result due to rain on Saturday.

4th Warm-up Game: ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023

The 4th warm-up match between India and England was abandoned without a ball bowled due to rain at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati.

5th Warm-up Game: ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023

The 5th warm-up match between Australia and the Netherlands ended with no result due to rain at Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. The match was started after a long break, and the match was reduced to 23 overs per side.

Australia captain Pat Cummins won the toss and opted to bat first. After winning the toss, Australia scored 166 runs for a loss of seven wickets in 23 overs. Steven Smith was the top scorer with 55 runs, and Cameron Green scored 34 runs.

In reply to that, the Netherlands scored 84 runs for a loss of six wickets in 14.2 overs before rain interrupted the match. However, after that, the match was called off. Colin Ackermann scored an unbeaten 31 runs. For Australia, Mitchell Starc claimed three wickets, including a hat-trick.
