Only two Sri Lankans were picked in the SA20 league

The teams of the South African T20 Cricket League have announced their squads for the upcoming season of the SA20 League. In Sri Lanka, only two players were picked for the second edition of the SA20. Left-handed batter Bhanuka Rajapaksha and young pacer Dilshan Madushanka were picked by Durban’s Super Giants.

However, Chamika Karunarathne, Akila Dananjaya, and Nuwanidu Fernando were unsold at the SA20 auction. Akila Dananjaya represented Durban’s Super Giants in the inaugural edition of the SA20.
