None of Sri Lankan player was picked in the PSL player draft
The Pakistan Super League player draft 2024 was held on Wednesday, December 13. During the player draft, six teams picked the players in six categories. 40 Sri Lankan players were registered for the 9th edition of the Pakistan Super League player draft, including Maheesh Theekshana, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Dushmantha Chameera, Dilshan Madushanka, and Dasun Shanaka. However, no Sri Lankan player was picked in the PSL player draft.
With that, Wanindu Hasaranga will be the only player to play in the upcoming Pakistan Super League. Hasaranga was retained by the Quetta Gladiators in the Diamond Category.
