Maxwell’s hundred took the game away from Windies

Australia registered a 34-run win over the West Indies in the 2nd T20I of the series at Adelaide on Sunday. West Indies captain Rovman Powell won the toss and opted to bowl first.

After losing the toss, Australia posted a huge total on the board and scored 241 runs for a loss of 4 wickets in their 20 overs. Mitchell Marsh scored 29 runs, and David Warner scored 22 runs. Glenn Maxwell was the star with the bat and scored an unbeaten 120 runs in 55 balls. Tim David made an unbeaten 31 runs.

In reply to that, the West Indies managed to score 207 runs for a loss of nine wickets in their 20 overs. Rovman Powell was the top scorer with the bat and scored 63 runs, and Andre Russell scored 37 runs. Jason Holder contributed with an unbeaten 28 runs. For Australia, Marcus Stoinis claimed three wickets.
