Kusal Mendis surpass Mahela Jayawardene

Kusal Mendis had a wonderful series with the bat, and he made 181 runs in 3 matches with 2 half centuries. It scored the most runs by a Sri Lankan player in a three-match T20I series.

Also, Kusal Mendis became the 3rd highest run scorer for Sri Lanka in T20I matches, surpassing Sri Lankan great Mahela Jayawardene. Kusal Mendis is currently in 3rd place on the list with 1554 runs in T20I matches.
