January 14: Angelo Mathews reached another milestone

On this day in 2021, Sri Lankan former captain Angelo Mathews passed 6,000 runs in Test matches during Sri Lanka’s first Test against England at Galle. He became the fifth Sri Lankan player to reach that milestone.
