Hasaranga is among the nominees for the ICC Men’s Player of the june
The International Cricket Council announced the ICC Men’s Player of the Month nominees for June. Australian batsman Travis Head, Zimbabwe opener Sean Williams, and Sri Lankan Super Star all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga are nominated as the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for June after their successful performances in the month of June.
Travis Head scored a match-winning hundred against India in the World Test Championship Final, which helped Australia to a historic victory. Sean Williams made three ODI hundreds in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournament. Wanindu Hasaranga equaled 33-year-old Waqar Younis’s record to claim three consecutive five-wicket hauls in ODI cricket in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier.
