England win Stuart Broad’s last Test match

England registered a 49-run win over Australia in the 5th Test of the Ashes, 2023, on Monday at Kennington Oval in London. Australia captain Pat Cummins won the coin toss and opted to bowl first.

After losing the toss, England was bowled out for 283 runs in their first innings. Harry Brook was the top scorer for England with 85 runs, and Ben Duckett scored 41 runs. Chris Woakes contributed 36 runs. For Australia, Mitchell Starc claimed four wickets.

Australia got off to a solid start, and David Warner and Usman Khawaja made a 140-run partnership for the first wicket. Usman Khawaja scored 72 runs, and David Warner scored 60 runs.
