Charith Asalanka will lead the Chennai Braves in Abu Dhabi T10
Chennai Braves announced that Sri Lankan middle order batter Charith Asalanka will be the captain of their side for the upcoming Abu Dhabi T10. Both Charith Asalanka and Bhanuka Rajapaksha were included in the Chennai Braves team.

This is the first time he will take part in the T10 League, and this is the first time that Charith Asalanka will lead the franchise league. However, Asalanka has captained Sri Lanka under-19 in the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Also, he was named the captain of the Sri Lanka team for the 2018 and 2019 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup, and he led the side during the 2019 South Asian Games.
Also, the Northern Warriors team will be led by the Sri Lankan former captain and experienced all-rounder, Angelo Mathews.
The seventh edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 will get underway from November 28 to December 9, 2023, at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium.
