Big decision from Binura Fernando

Sri Lankan fast bowler Binura Fernando has decided to take a little break from Cricket. He posted an Instagram post and announced his decision.

Absolutely devastated but it is what it is. I’ve decided to take a little break from cricket thinking about my own mental health. This doesn’t mean it’s curtains closed for me. Clowns on social media might think it’s the end of me but sorry to say it won’t be the end of me till I STOP. I’ll be back on the horse, bigger better and stronger. Appreciate everyone who had me in their prayers and also to people who are having their pity fun and 5 seconds of fame on social media spit roasting my injury, all I have to say is “ සුවපත් වේවා” because I’m a good Buddhist. Not the forearm tattoo “I’m Buddhist and I’m proud of it” kinda Buddhist
