Babar Azam and Sarfaraz Ahmed recover the horrible start

End of the first day of the 1st Test match of the series between New Zealand and  Pakistan at Karachi, Pakistan on top with 317 runs for lost of 5 wickets. Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the coin toss and elected to bat first.

Pakistan hasn’t had a good start. They lost Abdullah Shafique and Shan Masood when the score was 12 and 19. After that, Imam-ul-Haq and Babar Azam added 29 runs for the third wicket before Imam-ul-Haq was dismissed for 24 runs. 62 runs later, Saud Shakeel got out for 22 runs. Following that, Sarfaraz Ahmed joined Skipper Babar Azam in a 196-run partnership for the fifth wicket.Sarfaraz Ahmed scored 86 runs. Babar Azam was unbeaten on 161 runs at the end of the day’s play.
