Australia need 76 runs to win in day 3

At the end of the 2nd day of the 3rd Test match of the series between India and Australia, Australia needed 76 runs to register their first win in the series.

Australia start their innings for the 2nd day with 156 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. Peter Handscomb and Cameron Green added 30 runs today until Handscomb was dismissed for 19 runs. After that, Australia lost its way, and eventually they were bowled out for 197 runs. Green scored 21 runs. For India, Ravindra Jadeja took 4 wickets while R Ashwin and Umesh Yadav claimed 3 wickets each.

India start their innings with 88 runs behind. However, they haven’t had a good start and have lost wickets at regular intervals. Cheteshwar Pujara was the top scorer with 59 runs, and Shreyas Iyer scored 26 runs. India was eventually bowled out for 163 runs in their second innings.Nathan Lyon was the star with the ball, and he claimed 8 wickets and registered his 2nd-best bowling figures in his career.
