Angelo Mathews will be a key player for Sri Lanka in the Test against Kiwis

Sri Lanka will play two crucial Test matches against the Kiwis in New Zealand. The Lanka Lions have a great chance to qualify for the World Test Championship final. If Sri Lanka wins two tests against New Zealand, they will play against Australia in the WTC final.

Sri Lanka’s most experienced batsman, Angelo Mathews, will be a key player for Sri Lanka in this crucial Test series. Angelo Mathews played his first test match in New Zealand in 2014, and he scored two half centuries on his debut there. Matthews has played six Test matches in New Zealand and scored 503 runs with one hundred and four half centuries. He has a healthy batting average of 55.88 in New Zealand. Matthews played a gem of an inning with Kusal Mendis and made an unbroken 274 runs when Sri Lanka toured New Zealand last time. Both batted through the fourth day and added 239 runs for the fourth wicket. That partnership helped Sri Lanka draw the first Test of the two-match Test series against New Zealand.

Surely Angelo Mathews will make a huge impact for their team in this must-win Test Series against New Zealand as well.
