Was it a religious group that removed Chamika from the team?

In a program called “Balumgala” which is aired in a Sri Lankan radio media, it is stated that Chamika Karunaratne has received an invitation from a religious organization called Born Again and Chamika Karunaratne has rejected it. It is further mentioned in the program that because of this reason, Charmika lost his place in ODI series against Afghanistan.

However, The Sri Lankan Cricket Board recently announced that Sri Lankan all-rounder Chamika Karunaratne has been suspended for one year due to an incident that happened in a club in Australia during the last T20 World Cup.
