Zimbabwe qualify for the Super 12 stage

Zimbabwe registered 5 wickets win over Scotland, in 12th T20I of the T20I World Cup at the Hobart on Friday. Scotland Captain Richie Berrington won the coin toss and elected to bat first.

After winning the toss Scotland made 132 runs for 6 wickets in their 20 overs. George Munsey was the top scorer with 54 runs. Calum MacLeod scored 25 runs. For Zimbabwe Tendai Chatara and Richard Ngarava claimed 2 wickets each.

In reply that Zimbabwe scored 133 runs for the lost of 5 wickets in 18.3 overs. They lost 3 early wickets. But Craig Ervine and Sikandar Raza made 64 runs match winning partnership for the 4th wicket. Sikandar Raza scored 40 runs. Skipper Craig Ervine was the top scorer with 58 runs.
With that win Zimbabwe qualify for the Super 12 stage in ICC T20 World Cup and Scotland eliminated from the Tournament.
