WATCH: We have to bat well – Naveed Nawaz

On the first day of the second Test match between Sri Lanka and Pakistan, Pakistan trailed by 21 runs at Colombo. After winning the toss, Sri Lanka batted first, and they were bowled out for 166. In reply, Pakistan scored 145 runs for the loss of 2 wickets at the close of the day’s play. At the end of the day’s play, Abdullah Shafique stayed on, not out, for 74 runs, while Babar Azam on the other end had 8 runs.

At the end of the day, Sri Lanka’s assistant coach, Naveed Nawaz, joined the media conference and shared his thoughts on day 1 of the Test match.
