WATCH: I was crying after getting run out for 99 – Angelo Mathews

On social media, Sri Lankan Cricket shared a video commemorating Angelo Mathews’ historic 100th Test match. In the second Test of the series against Pakistan in 2022, Angelo Mathews played his 100th Test.

Sri Lanka’s most experienced player in the current team, Angelo Mathews, expresses his thoughts on his career and also remembers the emotional moments in his career. “I remember, me crying in the dressing room after getting run out for 99 against India,” Angelo Mathews said. I remember all my senior came up to me and said You will score your first hundred; don’t worry about it. He added. 

Angelo Mathews made his Test debut in 2009, and since then he has played 104 matches, scored 7218 runs, and claimed 33 wickets.
