Wanindu Hasaranga has been banned for two matches

Sri Lanka T20 cricket team captain Wanindu Hasaranga has been banned for two international matches and fined 50% of the last match fee. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has taken disciplinary action against him after the T20 match against Afghanistan at the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium. Wanindu Hasaranga expresses frustration towards umpire Lyndon Hannibal about the controversial no-ball incident during the 20th over of the Sri Lanka inning.

As a result, skipper Wanindu Hasaranga is likely to miss the first two matches of the T20 series against Bangladesh, which will be held on March 4th and 6th at Sylhet.
