The West Indies have appointed new captains for the white ball side

West Indies Cricket has named new captains for its limited-overs teams. According to the announcement, Shai Hope was named the captain of the ODI side, while Rovman Powell was named the captain of the West Indies T20I side. Both captains will lead the team on the upcoming March tour of South Africa.

29-year-old Shai Hope made his debut in 2016, and he has played 104 ODI matches and scored 4308 runs. A middle-order batter, Rovman Powell, made his T20I debut in 2017 and played 55 matches, scoring 890 runs.
