Strong response from New Zealand

End of the 2nd day of the first Test match of the series between Pakistan and New Zealand, New Zealand trail by 273 runs. Pakistan began day two by scoring 317 runs for 5 wickets.

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam dismisded for 161 runs in the first over of the day. At the back stage of the innings Agha Salman played a gem of an innings with the low order batsmans. He scored his maiden Test hundred and made 103 runs. Eventually Pakistan bowled out for 438 runs.

In reply that, New Zealand made a solid start with 165 runs opening stand. End of the days play Tom Latham unbeaten on 78 runs and Devon Conway unbeaten on 82 runs.
