South Africa has a huge mountain to climb

End of the 3rd day of the second Test match of the series between Australia and South Africa, South Africa trail by 371 runs. Australia began day three by scoring 386 runs for 3 wickets.

Travis Head was the day’s first wicket, bowled for 51 runs. After that, David Warner, who went off yesterday with cramp, came to bat. But he got out of the very first ball he faced today. Alex Carey  scored 111 runs, and Cameron Green scored an unbeaten 51 runs. Eventually, Australia declared their innings when the score was 575 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. For South Africa, Anrich Nortje claimed 3 wickets.

South Africa started their second innings with 386 runs behind, and they faced 7 overs before the stumps for the third day. South Africa skipper Dean Elgar was dismissed for a duck. At the end of the day, South Africa scored 15 runs, Sarel Erwee was unbeaten on 7, and Theunis de Bruyn was unbeaten on 6.
