SLC called for an urgent explanation, and fans organized a protest in front of the SLC
India registered a huge 302-run win over Sri Lanka in the 33rd match of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup on Thursday at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. India batted first and scored 357 runs for a loss of eight wickets in their 50 overs. In reply to that, Sri Lanka bowled out 55 runs in 19.4 overs.
After the heavy defeat against India, the Sri Lanka Cricket Board called for explanations from the coaching staff and selectors about some key points, including team selection and preparation.
However, Sri Lankan fans got disappointed with this huge defeat, and they are going to organize a protest in front of the Sri Lanka Cricket Board. Organizers on social media claim that they are organizing this peaceful protest to express their displeasure to the Cricket Board.
