September 03: Sri Lanka’s record chased against Afghanistan

On This Day in 2022, Sri Lanka registered a 4 wicket win against Afghanistan, which was recorded as the highest successful chase in Sharjah in T20I matches. Afghanistan batted first and scored 175 runs for the loss of six wickets in their 20 overs. In reply to that, Sri Lanka chased down the target successfully and scored 179 runs for the loss of six wickets in 19.1 overs.
