Rajasthan Royals lost by few inches
Sunrisers Hyderabad registered 4 wickets win over Rajasthan Royals in 52nd match of the Indian Premier League 2023 on Sunday at Jaipur. Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson won the toss and elected to bat first.
After winning the toss Rajastan Royals manage to set a huge target against SRH and scored 214 runs for lost of 2 wickets. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 35 runs. Jos Buttler missed well deserve hundred and he dismissed for 95 runs. Sanju Samson played a captain knock and scored an unbeaten 66 runs. Both Sanju Samson and Buttler made 138 runs for the 2nd wicket.
In reply that Sunrisers Hyderabad chased down the target successfully in the final ball of the match and scored 217 runs for lost of 6 wickets in their 20 overs. Abhishek Sharma was the top scorer with 55 runs and Rahul Tripathi scored 47 runs. At the back end of the innings Glenn Phillips smashed 25 runs in 7 balls and turn the game around. However Sandeep Sharma overstepped in the final ball of the innings and Abdul Samad hit for a six in the free hit and registered the highest chase ever by SRH.
