Pakitan and New Zealand shared the T20 series

Pakistan registered a 9-run win over New Zealand in the 5th and final T20I of the series at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Saturday. New Zealand captain Michael Bracewell won the toss and opted to bowl first.

After losing the toss, Pakistan made 178 runs for a loss of 5 wickets in their 20 overs. Skipper Babar Azam was the top scorer with 69 runs, and Fakhar Zaman scored 43 runs. Usman Khan contributed 31 runs. Both Babar and Usman Khan made a 73-run partnership for the second wicket.

In reply to that, New Zealand bowled out 169 runs in 19.2 overs. Tim Seifert scored 52 runs, and Michael Bracewell scored 23 runs. Josh Clarkson fought till the end and scored an unbeaten 38 runs. For Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi claimed 4 wickets, while Usama Mir chipped in with 2 wickets.

With that, Pakistan managed to level the 5-match series, and the trophy is being shared.
