Pakistan fans are frustrated with the decision to name Dickwella as captain
Sri Lankan wicketkeeper batsman Niroshan Dickwella has been named as the captain of the Colombo Strikers for the 4th edition of the Lanka Premier League. Pakistan skipper Babar Azam won’t be available for the full season of the LPL, which might have influenced the franchise’s decision to name Dickwella as captain ahead of Babar Azam. Pakistan will play an ODI series against Afghanistan in the second week of August.
However, Pakistan fans were pretty disappointed with the decision, and they showed their frustration via social media.
