No opening ceremony for the World Cup ?
The Indian media reports that there will be no opening ceremony for the 2023 World Cup. However, the International Cricket Council or Board of Control for Cricket in India has not yet made an official announcement about this.
The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 will get under way on October 5, and defending champions England will play against New Zealand in the opening match of the tournament at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
