New Zealand won the Chappell-Hadlee Trophy

New Zealand registered a 24-run win over neighbors Australia, in 3rd ODI and won the series 2-0, at the Hamilton on Sunday. New Zealand Captain Kane Williamson won the coin toss, and elected to bat first.

After the winning the toss New Zealand made 281 runs for lost of 9 wickets in their 50 overs. For New Zealand it was Ross Taylor, who was the top scorer with 107 runs. New Zealand opening batsman Dean Brownlie made his maiden hundred in ODI matches and scored 63 runs. Both Dean Brownlie and Ross Taylor made 100 runs partnership for the 3rd wicket. Kane Williamson and Mitchell Santner contributed with good 30 runs. While in the bowling, it was Mitchell Starc and James Faulkner, who claimed three- wickets each.

In reply that Australia were bowled out for 257 runs in 47 overs. For Australia Aaron Finch(56) and Travis Head(53) scored half centuries. Marcus Stoinis contributed with 42 runs. For New Zealand, Trent Boult was brilliant with the ball and he claimed 6 wickets for 33 runs in his 10 overs.
