Mathews and Kusal Janith have returned to the squad

The Sri Lanka Cricket Board has announced the squads for the upcoming one-day international and Twenty20 international series against New Zealand. Dushmantha Chameera of Sri Lanka will miss both series because he is still undergoing his structured return to play program as part of his rehabilitation program following a left ankle injury. In the ODI squad, he was replaced by young fast bowler Matheesha Pathirana, and in the T20I squad by Pramod Madushan.

Angelo Mathews, Sri Lanka’s most experienced player, was named to the ODI squad, while Kusal Janith Perera was named to the T20I squad. The ODI series will begin on March 25, followed by the T20I series on April 2.
