Kane Williamson will miss the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023
New Zealand Cricket announced that Kane Williamson will miss the upcoming ICC ODI Cricket World Cup in India due to his right knee injury. He was injured during the 1st match of the Indian Premier League 2023 between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans. After that, he was ruled out of the IPL and went back to New Zealand.
New Zealand Cricket said that Kane Williamson will require surgery on his injured right knee after scans on Tuesday, and Williamson is likely to have surgery on his knee within the next three weeks.
