Jasprit Bumrah was appointed captain of India

The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the 15-member squad for the upcoming T20I series against Ireland, which will get under way on August 18, and India will play three T20Is there. Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah was named captain of the side, while Ruturaj Gaikwad was named vice captain. Bumrah returned to the Indian side after 11 months.
