India Won the series 2-1

India won by 6 wickets and registered 2-1 series win over Australia, in 3rd and the final match of the series at the Hyderabad on Sunday. India Captain Rohit Sharma won the coin toss and elected to bowl first.

After losing the toss Australia had a good start. Cameron Green and Aaron Finch made quick 44 runs for the first wicket in 3.2 overs. Cameron Green scored 52 runs in 21 balls. After the good start Australia middle order couldn’t able to build the innings. They lost wickets regularly. Tim David batted brilliantly back end of the innings and he made 54 runs in just 27 balls. However Australia manage to score 186 runs for lost of 7 wickets in their 20 overs.

In reply that India lost their openers with in 4 overs. After that Suryakumar Yadav and Virat Kohli added 104 runs partnership for the 3rd wicket and set the platform. Suryakumar Yadav scored 69 runs in 36 balls. Virat Kohli made 63 runs in 48 balls. Finally India manage to chased down the target successfully and scored 187 runs for lost of 4 wickets in 19.5 overs.
