India won the last match but lost the series.
India registered a 227-run win over Bangladesh in the 3rd and final ODI of the series on Saturday at Chattogram. Bangladesh captain Litton Das won the coin toss and elected to bowl first.
After losing the toss, India posted a big total on the board. They made 409 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their 50 overs. India lost Shikhar Dhawan early. Following that, Virat Kohli and Ishan Kishan put on a 290-run partnership for the second wicket, effectively ending the game for the home team. Ishan Kishan was the star with the bat and scored 210 runs in 131 balls with 24 fours and 10 sixes. Virat Kohli made 113 runs.
Bangladesh were bowled out for 182 runs in 34 overs in response. India’s bowlers kept things tight and put pressure on Bangladesh. They lost wickets regularly. Shakib Al Hasan was the top scorer with 43 runs. For India, Shardul Thakur claimed three wickets. However, Bangladesh won the series 2-1.
