At the end of the fourth day of the first Test match of the series between Bangladesh and India, Bangladesh still needed 241 runs to win and India needed four wickets to win at Chattogram on Saturday.Bangladesh began day four by scoring 42 runs without losing a wicket.
Najmul Hossain Shanto and Zakir Hasan added another 82 runs for the 1st wicket in the 4th day until Najmul Hossain Shanto was dismissed for 67 runs. Zakir Hasan scored 100 runs and his maiden Test century. At the end of the day, skipper Shakib Al Hasan was unbeaten on 40 runs. For India, Axar Patel claimed three wickets.
