ICC has suspended Sri Lanka Cricket

The International Cricket Board announced that they have decided to suspend Sri Lanka Cricket’s membership in the ICC with immediate effect. The ICC said that the Sri Lanka Cricket Board had breached its obligations as a member, in particular the requirement to manage its affairs autonomously and without government interference.

The ICC Board will meet on November 21, and after that, future action is expected to be clearer.
