England won their second T20 World Cup

England registered a five-wicket win over Pakistan in the final of the T20I World Cup at the Melbourne on Sunday. England captain Jos Buttler won the coin toss and elected to bowl first. 

After losing the toss, Pakistan managed to score 137 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their 20 overs. Pakistan openers made a 29-run partnership for the first wicket, and Mohammad Rizwan was dismissed for 15 runs. However, Pakistan lost their wickets at regular intervals, and no one was able to build a partnership. Shan Masood was the top scorer with 38 runs. Babar Azam made 32 runs. For England, Sam Curran claimed three wickets. 

In reply, England chased down the target successfully in 19 overs. England made 138 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. England lost Alex Hales in the first over. However, Philip Salt and Jos Buttler maintain a healthy run rate and put pressure on Pakistan. Jos Buttler scored 26 runs. England two quick wickets. After that, Ben Stokes held his nerve and guided his team to a victory with an unbeaten 52 runs. 

Sam Curran awarded as the Man of the Match and Man of the series.
