Sri Lankan pacer Lahiru Kumara will be ruled out of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup. He was injured during the training session ahead of their next match against Afghanistan. According to the report, Sri Lankan pacer Dushmantha Chameera will be named as the replacement for the injured Lahiru Kumara. Dushmantha Chameera traveled to India with Angelo Mathews recently as a travelling reserves.
Also, Sri Lankan opening batsman Dimuth Karunarathne is likely to play in Sri Lanka’s next World Cup match against Afghanistan. Sri Lanka will play their next match against Afghanistan on Monday at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.
