David Warner shined on the first day of the Test match

Australia was on top at the end of the first day of the 1st Test match between Australia and Pakistan on Thursday in Perth. Australia captain Pat Cummins won the toss and opted to bat first.

After winning the toss, Australia were off to a solid start and made a 126-run partnership for the first wicket until Usman Khawaja was dismissed for the 41 runs. 33 runs later, Marnus Labuschagne departs for 16 runs. After the dismissal of Labuschagne, Steven Smith and David Warner added 79 runs for the third wicket. Steven Smith scored 31 runs. After that, Travis Head and David Warner made a 66-run partnership for the 4th wicket until Travis Head was dismissed for 40 runs. 17 runs later, David Warner was dismissed for 164 runs. At the end of the day, Australia scored 346 runs for a loss of five wickets.
